King County is having a Residential Recycling Event Saturday September 29th at the Tjomsland Gravel Pit (107th between Cove and Bank) from 9am - 3pm.

What you can drop off for free:
Bulky wood waste (stumps, pallets, untreated wood, plywood)
Electronic equipment (cell phones, printers, key boards, fax machines, scanners, stereos,VCRs & DVDs)
Household Items (clothing, bedding, linens,garden equipment, hand tools)
Scrap metal (auto parts, engines, gas mowers, metal furniture, hot water tanks, dryers, cast iron tubs and sinks, BBQs, iron, steel)
Styrofoam Blocks & Peanuts (must be clean and contained in bags or boxes)
Tires (no rims) first 8 tires are free

What will cost you: (CASH ONLY)
Computer monitors - $10 each
Sinks and Toilets - $10 each item
Mattresses ( also box springs & futons) - $10 each
Refrigerators, freezers air conditioners - $25 each unit
Televisions - $20 up to 36” $25 for larger ones
Tires with rims - $3 each
Tires (after first 8 ) $1.50
