This is a class intended for the brand new beekeeper for everything you need to know to get up and running. We’ll go over site prep, woodenware, equipment, hive placement, installing a package of bees, feeding, and what to expect your first season. A Q&A session follows and refreshments will be served. This is a $25 class (cash or check, collected at the class). Live bees will be on site and attendees should dress accordingly (avoid wool, fur, dark fleece or fleece-textured clothing).
