Vegetable Fermentation Workshop

Join us for an experience in lactic acid fermentation or, said another way, how your (great?) grandmother preserved vegetables. You will be guided through the simple process of transforming these seasonally-abundant morsels into something more delicious, stable and nutritious. Possible recipes include sauerkraut, kim chi, sour carrots and traditional, proper cucumber pickles. RSVP: Barbara 206-653-4264 Space limited.
