As an active Coast Salish storyteller, Roger Fernandes brings old stories alive again, offering their teachings to today’s children and adults. Fernandes will present “Teachings of the First People” on Saturday evening, January 24, at 6:30pm. This free event will happen at the Land Trust Building, 10014 SW Bank Road, and is sponsored by the Vashon-Maury Island Heritage Association.
