King County CSA Work Plan Meeting
at McMurray Middle School

King County hosts its first “Pilot CSA Work Plan” on Vashon-Maury Island at the Open House. The County is creating a new public engagement program, the Community Service Area Program, that will reach out and provide public engagement opportunities to all residents of unincorporated King County. The Pilot CSA Work Plan will explore how three components of the proposed CSA program will work, 1) goals, projects, and programs contained within the draft CSA Work Plan, 2) the County Interdepartmental Team that develops and supports the CSA work plan, and 3) the CSA Annual Meeting to present the draft CSA work plan. The feedback we receive from attendees at the Open House will help the county determine the best ways to proceed with successful implementation of this process on Vashon-Maury Island and to the rest of the unincorporated areas of the county.

For more information on the CSA Program please check out the information at: your.kingcounty.gov/dnrp/library/dnrp-directors-office/rural/ua-voice-to-residents.pdf

If you have any questions or need any additional information, please feel free to contact either Bong SantoDomingo, Community Service Representative at 206-296-3325, bong.stodomingo@kingcounty.gov or Julia Larson at 206-263-9689 or julia.larson@kingcounty.gov.

We look forward to seeing you and/or representatives of your organization at the Open House on the 10th of April.
