DUMP VASHON, sponsored by Vashon Alliance to Reduce Substance Abuse in partnership with several island businesses and organizations was designed to bring awareness to drinking & driving in addition to promoting clean, litter free roadsides. During the first two events ~ April 2011 and October 2011, over 300 lbs of roadside litter was collected.
