Christoph Gluck was one of the 3 greatest opera composers of the 18th century, and his most famous work in his retelling of the Greek myth Orpheus and Euridice. Seattle Opera will be presenting the French version of the opera. The preview lecture is presented by Norm Hollingshead, who will illustrate his commentary with recorded music excerpts.
