The Later Years: 1983-present. Mexican tenor Placido Domingo made his professional debut in 1961 at the age of 20. Now, 50 years later, at the age of 70, Domingo is still in the highest demand as a tenor in some of opera's most demanding leading roles. Opera lecturer Norm Hollingshead will illustrate his commentary with recorded excerpts from his own collection of recordings.
