An Evening with MICHAEL TOMLINSON

Known for his rich, visual songwriting and warm and friendly concerts, Michael Tomlinson has recorded and performed around the US since the mid-80s. He makes his home in Seattle and draws much of his inspiration and lyricism from the beautiful Pacific NW.

You'll feel right at home at Tomlinson's concert. His performances blend songs, stories and laughter - all flowing from his own life experiences. Songs range from deeply moving ballads and Americana, to up-tempo, jazzy folk-pop. Every song radiates a depth of passion and compassion, gratitude and deep connection with nature, love and life itself. The LA Times writes, "[Michael's songs]focus on healing and unity among humankind through understanding and honest communication."

Following a successful concert in Alaska, the Anchorage Times said, "The whole sell-out crowd at Michael Tomlinson's concert connected deeply with his intimate performance and propelled him to a graceful two-hour troubadour tour-de-force of singing and story-telling."

Last year Tomlinson was asked to write a song for a tribute to President Jimmy Carter being held in Atlanta. "Seeds of Love," was officially presented to The Carter Center in Atlanta and was chosen by Sutherland Living Magazine for a moving photo/music tribute using "Seeds of Love" and images from Jimmy Carter's life in Plains, GA.
