Forge & Feast, a day to nourish your body and soul

Join us for a special day of blacksmithing and dining with two of Seattle’s gifted artisans, Drew Middlebrooks (Smithy) and Leah Gerrard (Chef).

Learn the rich history and folklore of the ancient art of blacksmithing, as well as skills and techniques to create from raw stock a beautiful and functional knife. Leather work and sheath-making will be included as time permits.
Two delicious, gourmet meals (lunch and dinner, including dessert), as well as scrumptious snacks, will be provided from food raised and grown by local farmers.

Forge & Feast will be held at a private location on Vashon Island's north end, just a short ferry ride from Seattle or Tacoma.

Choose one or both days - June 9th or June 10th. 9am - 9pm. $250 per day. To reserve your place, please call (206) 651-5715.

Proceeds will benefit the Vashon Wilderness Program Scholarship Fund. VWP is a nonprofit 501c3 educational organization that has been igniting relationships between the natural world, self and community since 2007. They provide deep nature connection programs for youth ages 4-17 in the woods, schools and wilder places of the PNW. For more information please visit: vashonwildernessprogram.org
